Last week at the New World Center I delivered the State of the City Address, a template of where we are today and what is on the horizon.
The Address discussed the state of our City's finances, including a $16.4 million budget surplus; the 30 acres of new parks in the queue; new community policing initiatives; our greatly expanded cultural programming; and education initiatives like our STEAM Plus program. The Address also features an honest discussion of our resiliency and transit challenges, and approaches to our Entertainment District.
So while the state of our City is strong and getting stronger, there is real work still to be done.
