January 2, 2019  ‌  ‌  ‌ MAKE A CLEAN SWEEP FOR THE NEW YEAR Household Hazardous Waste and Electronics Recycling Event, Christmas Tree Collection and Bulk Trash Service all in January Don't forget to clean out any hazardous waste you may have around your home and bring it to our drop-off collection event at the Public Works Services Center this Sunday, January 5 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Quarterly Residential Bulk Trash Service On Your Regular Garbage Day (January 15-18, 2020) Make a fresh start for the New Year! Bulk trash pick up service will take place this month for the following residential customers in Weston.   Bulk pickup occurs on the date of your regularly scheduled garbage collection. All items should be placed curbside by 7 a.m. on your pick up day. Single Family Homes and Multi-Family Units with Curbside Collection: Wednesday, January 15 Thursday, January 16 OR Friday, January 17 Multi-Family Units with Dumpsters (Place items near dumpster): Saturday, January 18 Bulk items include but are not limited to: Furniture, mattresses, carpets and other large household items. Large and small appliances, such as dishwashers, laundry machines and stoves. Refrigerators or air conditioners must have Freon removed by a certified dealer. Mirrors, glass, glass top tables, windowpanes, and plate glass items should be safely placed in a rigid container to facilitate safe collection. Homeowner-generated vegetative waste from regular yard maintenance -- NOT Contractor-generated waste. Now is the time to trim your trees for to weather the storm season. Just a reminder that work done by landscaping contractors must be hauled away by the contractor.
