IN THE SPOTLIGHT

Census 2020: Be Counted!

The 2020 Census is coming!  Every 10 years the U.S. Census Bureau conducts a nationwide count to determine the number of people living in the United States.  In mid-March, homes across the country will begin receiving invitations to complete the 2020 Census.  You can respond in one of three ways:  online, by phone or by mail.  Remember, if you don't have a computer or internet access at home, you can always visit your local library to complete the Census online.

It's important that everyone be counted because census results will determine how billions of dollars in federal funding are distributed to our community for hospitals, schools, roads and other vital programs.
To learn more, visit the Miami-Dade Counts 2020 Census information page.

Did you know? The online and phone census questionnaire will be available in 13 languages.
