NEWS FROM THE CITY OF WESTON
December 8, 2020

Sunday Funday at the Get Fit Challenge
Congratulations to Sagemont Lower School for winning this year’s Commission Cup at the Get Fit Challenge, part of the 23rd Annual Rotary Run for Tomorrow event held on Sunday, December 6. All of the families that participated in the Challenge enjoyed a fun, interactive event (which also followed CDC guidelines.) The smiles and giggles that were shared throughout the day were priceless! And everyone learned a little more about staying healthy and fit, too.

The top three schools – Sagemont Lower, Imagine Weston and Indian Trace – will receive a $1,000 cash prize, and the remaining participating elementary schools in Weston will receive $500 thanks to The Rotary Club of Weston, Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital and the many event sponsors.

Where's George?
Clue for Week 8
With so many books and Florida authors near, it's no wonder this is George's favorite reading spot in the City. Sometimes he brings a book and lays on the lawn or by the fountain. Other days he likes to follow the history walk and read the plaques detailing the unique archeological history of Weston. See if you can find this bench on your walk!
