Rock the Future of Our Parks
Take the Parks Master Plan Survey Online
The City of Weston Parks and Recreation Department is developing a Master Plan for parks and facilities amenities, programs, events, and services which will guide improvement plans for the next ten years. We want to hear from you. Community input is an important part of this process. Weston residents are encouraged to complete the online survey linked below. It only takes a few minutes to make a big impact on shaping the future of Weston's parks.

The survey questions are designed to help determine the types of improvements residents want. The process will ultimately create a priority blueprint for the Parks and Recreation Department to determine the types of programs and recreational opportunities that our community would like to see within the City of Weston. The survey is available in English and Spanish.
Do's and Don'ts When Using Weston Synthetic
Turf Fields & Courts
The City invests a substantial amount of money on synthetic turf for sports fields and courts which delivers year-round use and reduced maintenance and associated costs. The organic infill provides lower field temperatures and a safer playing surface over non-organic infill. Synthetic materials, however, bring special care. Learn the Do’s and Don’ts required to keep them in top shape and lasting their useful life.

Keep Your Eyes on the Road.
U Drive. U Text. U Pay.
We have all seen it -- distracted drivers paying more attention to their phones than the road. In fact, you may have been tempted to do so yourself from time- to-time.

In 2020, 3,142 lives were lost in crashes involving distracted drivers – and that was during a time when much less traffic was out and about due to the pandemic. The data is from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, which recently launched a new campaign to target districted drivers.
The U Drive. U Text. U Pay. campaign reminds drivers of the deadly dangers and legal consequences of using your mobile device to text, send email, etc. Mobile devices are considered one of the most dangerous type of distracted driving because it combines visual, manual, and cognitive distraction - behind the wheel.
