Celebrate Women in STEM During Our Virtual STEAMFest

Explore a world of science and technology from the comfort of your own home! In celebration of Women's History Month, we are highlighting women leaders in STEM during this all-day virtual event. From marine biology and environmental science to art, engineering and coding, there is something for everyone! Join us for the full day or just tune in to your preferred panel. Space is limited. Ages 8 years and up.

    11:00 a.m. - 11:15 a.m. – Welcome to STEAMFest!

    11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. – Sharks and Marine Biology, presented by Sharks4Kids

    12:45 p.m. - 1:45 p.m. – How Girls Are Saving the Planet, presented by The CLEO Institute

    2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. – All About Energy, presented by Society of Women Engineers

    3:15 p.m. - 4:15 p.m. – Design a 3D Model, presented by MDPLS YOUmedia Miami

    4:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. – DIY Seed Starter, presented by MDPLS YOUmake Miami

Celebrate St. Patrick's Day by creating your own leprechaun robot drawing! Learn how to draw a robot and fill it in with vibrant colors using markers and aluminum foil. Space is limited. Ages 7 - 13 years.

Materials needed: paper, aluminum foil, black permanent marker, washable colored markers and a spray bottle with water.
