NEWS FROM THE CITY OF WESTON January 26, 2021 City Hall Lit in Amber for National Memorial Tribute Last Tuesday, January 19, City Hall took part in a national memorial for victims of COVID-19. January 20, 2021, marked one year from the confirmation of the first case in the United States. We have lost over 400,000 Americans to the virus in the year since. City Hall was washed in amber light, in their memory. At that night’s commission meeting, Mayor Brown stated, “At this same time there was a first-ever lighting of the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool in Washington, D.C. to honor those who have died, while church bells tolled across our nation for a collective moment of unity. and remembrance.” View Photos » Bulk Trash Pickup is This Week Don’t forget!
