North Beach Bandshell Ribbon Cutting Thursday, February 20 5 PM North Beach Bandshell 7275 Collins Avenue Join the City of Miami Beach for a construction completion celebration! The North Beach Bandshell has a new canopy and we're excited to share this new, fun feature with our community.

Culture Crawl Thursday, February 20 6 PM - 9 PM The City of Miami Beach is working alongside some of the world’s best cultural institutions to provide a night of free, unique and unforgettable experiences. Every third Thursday of the month, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. The majority of the programming is accessible by foot and by bike, but we will also offer four dedicated free trolleys (the white ones) complete with Art Deco tour guides, that will drop you off and pick you up at our dedicated Culture Crawl stops

Black History Month with Parks and Rec Thursday, February 20 6:30 PM - 8 PM North Beach Bandshell Celebrate Black History Month with Miami Beach! Enjoy musical performances, dance performances and other fun activities.

Soul Vegan Festival Saturday, February 22 12 PM - 6 PM The Sand Bowl at Bandshell Park 7275 Collins Avenue Come out to the 3rd Annual Soul Vegan Festival powered by the Hungry Black Man. Neighborhood Leadership Academy Would you like to be an empowered community leader? The City of Miami Beach's Neighborhood Leadership Academy (NLA) builds community by educating neighbors about various city functions and equips them with leadership skills to become effective neighborhood leaders. State of the City Monday, February 24 9:30 AM New World Center 500 17 Street Join Mayor Dan Gelber on Monday, February 24 at 10 a.m. at the New World Center for his State of the City address. In his address, he'll walk us through where we stand and what's on the horizon. Please RSVP via email to vp@miamibeachfl.gov. Power Walk & Talk Tuesday, February 25 5:30 PM Behind the UNIDAD 7251 Collins Avenue Please join Commissioner Michael Góngora, Commissioner Steven Meiner, North Beach Business Association and the Normandy Fountain Business Association for a Power Walk & Talk to discuss North Beach issues of importance to you. Bring comfortable walking shoes and we'll see you at 5:30 p.m.

4th Annual Youth Music Festival Saturday, February 29 3 PM North Beach Bandshell The City of Miami Beach and the Rhythm Foundation are proud to announce 12 youth performers have been selected to perform at the North Beach Bandshell Stage and eight artists to perform on the Acoustic Garden Stage on Saturday, February 29, 2020 as part of the fourth annual Miami Beach Youth Music Festival. No Place For Hate Thursday, March 12 6 PM North Shore Bandshell 7275 Collins Avenue Please join us as Miami Beach Senior High, Miami Beach Nautilus Middle School, Miami Beach South Pointe Elementary, North Beach Elementary, Biscayne Beach Elementary, Miami Beach Fienberg Fsher K-8, Treasure Island Elementary and Ruth K. Broad Bay Harbor K-8 Center earn the respected Anti-Defamation League's No Place for Hate designation for their efforts to combat bullying in our public schools.

Mayors' Chess Challenge Saturday, March 14 10 AM to 12 PM Scott Rakow Youth Center 2700 Sheridan Avenue Join the City of Miami Beach Mayor and Commission for a fun and friendly chess event as part of the 6th Annual Mayors' Chess Challenge. Free instruction, music and light refreshments provided. Players of all ages and skill levels are welcome. Complimentary parking available at the main entrance to the facility.
