Starting Tuesday, October 1, Miami-Dade County is increasing parking fines. Please click here for their ordinance, which lists all parking violation fines and costs.
Some of their citation increases will include:
- Overtime Parking (expired meter/failed to pay meter): From $18 to now $36
- Restricted Parking (parking in a residential zone without a permit): From $23 to now $36
- Freight Loading Zone: From $23 to now $75
- Passenger Curb Loading Zone: From $23 to now $46
- Obstruction of Traffic: From $28 to now $124
